“Without my years participating in and assisting with the National League of Junior Cotillion, I would not have managed the success I have found today. Cotillion has taught me grace and poise and enabled me to walk with confidence. It is pretty impressive to be known as the girl with the excellent manners, and it is quite flattering to be the person that everyone asks which arm to use for escort position at prom. By learning the proper ways to interact in social situations, my people skills have dramatically improved. By learning the correct ways to sit and walk, my posture has improved, and I am seen as a woman of confidence. These and other skills as well as the great prestige of the National League of Junior Cotillion, have been an irreplaceable strength when applying to college, competing for scholarships, and filling out job applications. Cotillion has been such an amazing influence in my life. Without it, I would not be where I am today.” |
